Little Women
Description
This new adaptation of the classic novel puts Louisa May Alcott front and center, featuring many passages from the original text and exploring the overlap between the writer, her family, and her characters.
Vibrant and bursting with heart, Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women will delight audiences with its portrayal of the March sisters and their mother while their father serves in the Civil War. As they reckon with societal limitations, their eccentricities, love for each other, and shared feminine strength bind them through all of life’s ups and downs. Whether you’ve seen every adaptation of Little Women or this is your first experience, the IRT’s production will be a fresh, bold, and exciting contribution to the storied history of this important work.
